Biography

Dr Guiderdoni

Dr Bruno Abd-al-Haqq Guiderdoni is the director of the Observatory of Lyon (France). His main research field is in galaxy formation and evolution. He has published more than 100 papers and has organized several international conferences on these issues.

He is an expert on Islam in France and has published 50 papers on Islamic theology and mysticism. He was in charge of a weekly French television program called Knowing Islam from 1993 to 1999 and is now the director of the Islamic Institute for Advanced Studies.
